Geat advice and hacks to make your trip an easy, seamless and memorable one.

1) Please alert your financial institutions that you will be travelling outside of the United States so that there will be no restrictions on your credit and/or debit cards.

2) Roaming charges maybe accrued if your phone is not on 'airplane mode'. Please remember to make the switch on your device as needed.

3) Please remember to leave your flight itinerary and any other pertinent information with a reliable source/emergency contact.

4) Please remember to take small bills for tips, i.e. drivers, housekeepers, bell/house men, servers, bartenders, etc. Recommended tips for driver ($5 each way), housekeeper ($5 per night - leave it daily, as you may have a different housekeeper each day), bell/house men ($1-$2 per suitcase/bag.) servers/bartenders, $2-$3 per meal.

5) Please remember temperatures in the Dominican Republic is HOT, HOT and sometimes HUMID llightweight clothes is highly recommended.

AMERICAN AIRLINE'S baggage allowance $30 USD 1st bag, 2nd $40 - therefore check your bags separatley.

First checked bag under 50 lbs. (23 kg), each way. It is highly recommended this fee to be paid at check-in (24 hours prior to departure)

American Airlines Advantage Member, please remember to include your #s in your reservation in order to earn your mileage

• hand sanitizer

• hydrocortisone 1%

• painkillers (Tylenol, Advil, Motrin, etc)

• Antihistamine (Benadryl, Claritin, etc)

• antidiarrheal medications

• Sunglasses, reading glasses, contacts, solution

• Toothpaste

• Mouthwash

• Floss

• Toothbrush

• Bath wash, soap

• lotion

• Shampoo & conditioner

• hair care products

• perfume, cologne

• prescription (medication) please hand carry - do not pack in checked baggage

• Please remember that all liquids and gels are to be under 4ozs.
